Why are you here?
Do you know?
I work nearly every single day with very successful and highly accomplished entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs who are making $400,000.00 or more per year. Some are making millions.
Many of them can’t answer the question posed above. Why are you here? ( Download Your 3 STEP WORKSHEET)
Look if you’re attempting to be a carbon copy of someone else you’re redundant.
I know that sounds harsh but it’s true nonetheless.
The world is pretty damn crowded already, there’s no room for redundancy.
I worked with a coach some months back who told me “I want to be the next Oprah.”
Oprah has Oprah down. There’s only one Oprah.
I have James Arthur Ray down. No one can do James Arthur Ray better than me.
Envy is ignorance.
Imitation is suicide.

You’ve got to do you.
You’ve got to find your own unique genius and bring your unique brand of value to the world.
If you don’t fulfill your purpose in this lifetime
there’s a void in the universal plan.
You have to do it in your own way.
You have to be the best you there could ever be.
Life is short. Don’t waste it living someone else’s life.
~ Steve Jobs

I was having a dinner conversation with a young woman recently who was asking me if I ever want to have children.
My answer, “No.”
She responded, “Why not?”
I told her my philosophy is that if anything is worth doing it’s worth doing greatly. I don’t feel that I can or even would be a great dad.
Not that I couldn’t be a great dad if that’s what I chose to be.
It’s just not.
It’s not my purpose in this life. It’s not my Magnificent Obsession.
If you attempt to be great at everything you’ll master nothing.
Mastering my craft is going to take every ounce of life I have within me; and probably then some.
Most of us don’t think our decisions through; and therefore we overcommit, under estimate, and end up with mediocrity.
Spreading ourselves too thin we have limited impact and limited fulfillment; and end up with mediocrity. Certainly no mastery.
Attempting to be everybody’s everything ensures you’ll be everybody’s nothing.
You don’t have time.
Even though you often attempt to fool yourself into thinking that you do.
So what are you going to do with the handful of days you’ve been given?
When would now be the time to decide?
