What is perfection?
Have you ever created something that’s “perfect”?
No flaws, no room for improvement, no room for growth?
Doubtful.
You see, if we’re not careful we get stuck in the pursuit of “perfect”; and we end up doing little to nothing.
I suggest to you that “perfection” is the lowest standard on the planet…
The search for perfection is the way we convince ourselves that it’s okay to wait and procrastinate…

Because perfection doesn’t exist!
“Perfect” is the lowest standard on the planet. Because it doesn’t exist.
Perfection is the enemy of greatness.
The best we can ever hope to achieve is perfect imperfection.
So maybe today is the day to just get started.
Maybe today is the time to do something even if it’s wrong.

Scary?
Well that’s a whole other issue now, isn’t it?
Fears come mostly from our childhood and most certainly from our past.
Think about it… even if you fear something happening in the future, it’s most likely something that’s been conditioned into you from your past.
The things you fear have been conditioned into you from your past;
from the fears of other peoples’ fears.
As you’ve heard me state many times: the answer to all your problems and challenges—yes even the pursuit of perfection—reside in your past.
