Flexibility and Adaptability Are Power

He who has the greatest flexibility
has the greatest influence and impact on the world.

In this series we’re exploring not only the qualities you must develop to thrive in the new economy, but also the 3 hottest markets that experts predict for the future.

These are your greatest opportunity to potentially become one of the new value providing billionaires in the world.

Eleven percent of the worldwide billionaires
have been created in the last 12 months alone.
All of them have found a human need,
and a unique way to solve it. How about you?

Where small thinkers see fear, exponential thinkers have faith and see fuel. Where small thinkers see chaos, Leaders have confidence and see a new level of order.

Just as a recap, here are the fundamental characteristics you must develop personally first and foremost for the future. They’re also the hottest markets in which to help others as well.

  1. The ability to extend healthful, energetic and vibrant lives. Not weak and decrepit lives, vibrant lives.
  2. The ability to adapt to an ever-changing world.
  3. The ability to find authentic happiness and fulfillment within never-ending change.

We’ve explored in great depth and detail how to live a longer more energetic life. If you’re just joining the series, you can go here to catch up.

Now let’s move into characteristic and opportunity #2.

Adaptability and reinvention.

We used to have the “learning years” followed by the “earning years.”
Now there are just the learning years followed by learning years
followed by learning years. The learners inherit the earth.

Forbes magazine predicts that 50% of the salaried jobs will be gone within the next 3-5 years.

Obviously, that means that if you’re on payroll right now, one out of every 2 employees will be gone. There’s a 50% chance it’ll be you.

Even if Forbes is a bit aggressive with its numbers, let’s say it’s 30% versus 50%, that’s still one out of every 3 people at risk of being off payroll.

So, what are you going to do?

Most never make any significant change in their life
until they experience enough pain.
Pain is the mother of all growth.

So, is it all bad news?

Well, that depends on you.

In the last 10 years we’ve more than doubled the number of billionaires on the planet!

And 11% of those new billionaires have been created in the last 12 months alone!

Opportunity has never been more plentiful and rampant than it is today.

Never!

But for you to seize this unlimited opportunity you must first let go of limited thinking.

The bottom line is that you must reinvent yourself. You must rethink your thinking.

This article will help you understand how to Reinvent and Take Your Power Back!

Reinvention is difficult to do. That’s an understatement to say the least.

Reinventing yourself is hard enough in your 30’s,
it often seems next to impossible in your 50’s.
Yet this is the world we live in. Get busy.
Change your thinking.

Doubling the number of billionaires in 10 years is what’s called “exponential growth.”

Exponential growth will never come from incremental thinking.

The unfortunate truth is that the human mind is not conditioned to think exponentially, non-linear and quantum. Unfortunately, it’s trained to think incremental, linear and Newtonian.

Yet the only way to succeed and succeed in a big way as we move forward in our Mach 10 Market is to re-condition your way of thinking.

Nothing is more important, critical or vital than developing new thinking.

Reconditioning how you think in a Mach 10 Market is job #1!
Invest more in your mindset than you do in your marketing.

Take the number of years you’ve been on the planet, and add the number of years you’ve been out of traditional school. Now add the number of years you’ve been doing the same thing in the same way; and that’s your potential obsolescence quotient.

Information is doubling every 12 months in todays’ world.
That means if you got a PhD 12 months ago you USED to know a lot.

You must practice what I call “Beginning at the Beginning.”

Beginning at the Beginning is the process of going all the way back mentally to your childhood and discovering several things:

  1. Your unique gifts. What I call your genius.
  2. Your programming and conditioning.
  3. Your beliefs about self, others, world.
  4. Your core level values.

These things comprise “layer one.” We’ll explore these in more depth and detail in the next several installments and how they apply to your Leadership, Performance and Adaptability.

More to come.

Be a Leader, Live Purpose, And Take Your Power Back!
